Since 2017, Mr & Mrs Idly has been serving authentic and fusion South Indian food to Pune — pure-veg, freshly made, and always with a smile.
It started with a simple idea: that a great idly or dosa should taste like it does back home — soft, fresh and made with care.
Mr & Mrs Idly opened its doors in Pune in 2017 as a 100% pure-vegetarian South Indian restaurant, and has been a neighbourhood favourite ever since. From crisp ghee-roast dosas and pillowy idlys to hearty uttapams and real Madras filter coffee, every plate is rooted in authentic South Indian cooking.

These terms apply to your use of the Mr & Mrs Idly website and to orders placed with us for dine-in, takeaway, delivery, catering or meal services. Mr & Mrs Idly is operated by Arcari Food Ventures, Pune. By placing an order, you accept these terms.
All dishes are subject to availability and may vary by outlet and time of day. We may change the menu, recipes or prices at any time without prior notice. Prices and item availability shown on our delivery partners' apps are managed there and are the live reference for ordering.
Mr & Mrs Idly serves 100% vegetarian food. Jain preparations (without onion and garlic) are available on request for many items. While we take care to follow your request, please inform our team clearly at the time of ordering.
Our dishes may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as dairy, nuts, gluten and soya. If you have a food allergy or specific dietary requirement, please tell our team before ordering. We will do our best to help but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
An order is confirmed once accepted by our team or our ordering system. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, if delivery is not feasible to your location, or in case of suspected misuse — and where you have paid, a refund will be processed.
Delivery to your area depends on outlet coverage and, where applicable, our delivery partners. Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary with distance, weather, traffic and order volume.
Payments may be made in-store or through our online-ordering and delivery partners. Online transactions are processed by those providers; we do not store your payment details.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for delays or issues caused by third-party delivery partners or events beyond our reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
Because food is freshly prepared, returns work a little differently. Here is how we handle cancellations and refunds, fairly and simply.
Every order at Mr & Mrs Idly is cooked fresh once placed. For food-safety and hygiene reasons, we are generally unable to accept returns of prepared food once it has been made or delivered.
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible on +91 92268 46232. Cancellations can usually be accommodated only if preparation of your order has not yet begun. Orders placed through delivery partners follow that partner's cancellation rules.
We will gladly arrange a replacement or refund if: (a) you received an incorrect or incomplete order; (b) the food arrived in unacceptable condition (for example, spilled or spoiled in transit); or (c) we were unable to fulfil an order you had already paid for.

Where a refund is approved, it is processed to the original payment method or as a credit, depending on how the order was placed. For orders made through a delivery partner, the refund is processed as per that partner's policy and timelines.

Hot, freshly-prepared food deserves a careful journey. Here is how home delivery currently works for Mr & Mrs Idly — through our partners, and direct from our outlets.
Mr & Mrs Idly is a sit-down and takeaway restaurant with two outlets in Pune. Home delivery is currently fulfilled entirely through our partner platforms — Swiggy and Zomato — who handle the rider network, packaging-in-transit and last-mile logistics. You can also place direct orders on WhatsApp or by phone for takeaway from our outlets, and we are happy to dine you in at either location.
As of now, two platforms deliver Mr & Mrs Idly food to your home or office:
When you place an order on either platform, the order is received at the relevant outlet, prepared fresh, and handed to that platform's delivery partner for the journey to you. The serviceability for your address, the rider, the estimated time and the live tracking are all managed by the platform you order through.
Whether you can be served, and how quickly, depends on which of our two outlets is closest to you and on the partner platform's serviceable radius from that outlet. The two outlets are:
Both outlets are open 8 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. To check whether your address is serviceable, open Swiggy or Zomato and search for “Mr & Mrs Idly” with your delivery address entered.
Delivery time depends on three things: (a) how long the partner platform takes to dispatch a rider; (b) how busy our kitchen is at the moment your order arrives; and (c) the distance and traffic between the outlet and your address. The platform you ordered through will show an estimated time at checkout and a live tracking estimate once the rider is assigned. These estimates are good-faith but not guarantees.
During peak hours (lunch and dinner, weekends and festivals) delivery can take longer than at off-peak times. Heavy rain, traffic and platform-side rider availability can also affect timing.
Live order tracking is provided through the partner platform you ordered on. Swiggy and Zomato show order status (received, being prepared, out for delivery, delivered) and the rider's live location once they pick up. Mr & Mrs Idly does not separately track partner deliveries; please use the partner app for status and any in-transit support.
Delivery charges, packaging fees, surge or platform fees, and any applicable taxes are set by the partner platform and shown to you at checkout in the app. Mr & Mrs Idly does not levy a separate delivery charge on top of what the partner platform displays. For direct WhatsApp orders that go via takeaway, no delivery charge applies (since you collect from the outlet).

If anything is missing, incorrect or in unacceptable condition, please raise it on the partner platform on the same day, ideally within a few hours of receiving your order. Refunds for partner-delivered orders are processed under the partner's own refund policy and timelines — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Orders placed on our WhatsApp (+91 92268 46232) or by phone are accepted as takeaway from the chosen outlet, unless we have specifically agreed an alternative arrangement with you. You or your courier of choice collects the order from the outlet at the agreed time. This is also how our outlet team confirms availability, prices and packaging when you order direct — and the route that lets you save the platform markup.
We may, from time to time, list with additional delivery platforms or appoint our own delivery arrangement. Any such addition will be reflected here in the list of partners and on the home page. Until then, Swiggy and Zomato are the two platforms through which home delivery is available.
